Frequently asked questions

How can I pass the lesson with an uppercase letter without Caps Lock?

It is not "wrong" to type uppercase letters via the caps lock key, but it is considered bad typing practice because it can slow down your typing speed and make your typing less efficient.

When you use the caps lock key to type in all uppercase, you have to press the key twice-once to activate the caps lock and again to turn it off. This can slow down your typing speed because you are using two keystrokes to accomplish something that could be done with just one. In addition, typing in all caps can be difficult to read and is often interpreted as shouting or emphasizing the text.

A better approach is to use the shift key to type in uppercase letters. This requires only one keystroke and is much faster and more efficient. You need to use the SHIFT key. The SHIFT key is always pressed by the pinky finger opposite to the one hitting the other key. If you need to, you can learn more about typing.
