Requirements for diagnosing with the Ratatype keyboard test
For an accurate keyboard diagnosis, keep these points in mind while using the Ratatype test:
- JavaScript: this test needs JavaScript to function properly.
- Browser Compatibility: the test works best with modern browsers like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Edge.
- Print Screen Key: most browsers can’t detect the Print Screen key, which may affect test accuracy.
- Fn Key: Browsers won’t detect pressing the Fn key alone. Test it by pressing Fn with function keys like Fn+F1, Fn+F2, etc.
- Localization: The test uses an English (US) layout, and key names may differ based on your browser’s settings.
