How do we measure
a typing speed?

Typing speed is typically measured in words per minute (WPM). A "word" is defined as an average of 5 characters. Count the number of words typed in a minute to calculate your WPM, ensuring no mistakes, then divide by five. For example, typing 200 characters (including spaces) in one minute would result in a typing speed of 40 WPM.

Typos in essential documents can be frustrating but significantly affect your typing speed. That’s why, during the WPM test, you can’t move on until you fix any mistakes. Correcting errors as you go ensures accurate results and helps you improve.

For optimal typing speed results, make sure all the keys on your keyboard are in good working condition.

The typing test lasts just 2-3 minutes!

Practice as often as you like! Grab your keyboard and dive in—the earlier you start, the sooner you'll discover your true typing potential. Best of luck!
